DESCRIPTION: Clocks- 3 (Three): (1)Ansonia Clock Co., New York "Midget", 8 days, time and strike, brass "giant alarm" case clock, c1880. (2)Ansonia Clock Co., 8 days, time, strike and Westminster chime tambour mantel clock, c1925. (3)Seth Thomas Clock Co., Thomaston, Conn., 8 days, time and strike, green marbleized "Adamantine" finish mantel clock, c1905.
CONDITION: (1) Large brass case with age cracks to the brass. The outer paper dial has been replaced, the center area is original, but has oil stains. Hands are original. Remains of a label on the back of the case. This is a rarely found model. (2)Mahogany case in original finish with minor scratches and a small piece of the molding missing on the edge near 8 o'clock. Hands are original. Original silvered dial with minor scratches and wear around the winding arbors. Dial has built in level; (3)Nicely restored adamantine case with some small chips on the back edges of the case. Original paper dial has age darkened a little. Hands are original.
